i meet my dad

CHAPTER 3

so ya... I fainted.

When I woke up, I saw the king again. "Ah, Kiwi, you are awake". he said.

I sat up and realized that I was in an ice blue bed and the sheets were made of snow. Wow, this place is really playing up the ice gig.

I am getting off track. "Where am I?" I asked.

"You are in the northern ice mountains of the dragon dimension." he answered.

To say I was confused was an understatement, I felt I had been stuffed in a sack turned around 9,000,000 times then released in a carnival and told to have fun.

"How do you know my name?' I said, looking around.

When I looked back at him I saw he was in a Darth Vader suit and he had a lightsaber and can you guess what he said: "Kiwi, I am your father."

And, I fainted for the 190th time. I really need to stop that.

When I woke up again I was still in the room but the king was gone. I found a door and tried to open it but before I could open it, the door opened on its own.

"Well, that is freaky," I thought to myself.

I walked down a couple hallways and found another door. I opened it up to find the room that had the main door. It was an open air room with snow falling down. I walked to the center of the room and saw a throne made of ice. There was a sword hilt-deep in the ice in front of it. I went to the throne and picked it up.  I saw it had metal that changed color like the aurora. I felt a rush of energy rush through me.

I heard a voice behind me. "Ah, I see you found the aurora blade". It was the king again.

"The aurora blade?" I asked.

"Yes, it is made of a special metal I found in the mountain during an aurora Borealis," he said.

"Huh. Cool“. I said.

"I had it forged with another weapon made of earth metal for my two eldest sons,“ He said.

"Then why isn't it with one of them?" I asked

"Hey kiwi, did you feel a rush of power when you pulled it from the ice? “he asked.

"Ya, why?" I asked

"Then it bonded to yo, “he said

"It what?" i asked. this was getting confusing!

"It bonded to you meaning that it was made for you so that means that you are my eldest son and that you have to go back to the mortal realm to get you brother and start your training," he said in a fast voice.

My mouth dropped open and I did not faint but I heard a faint rumble.

"And that would be an avalanche, you really need to get a hold of your magic son." he said in a resigned voice.

"Ok, so you say you are my dad and I have a brother," I said

"That and a sister an aunt and an uncle and 5 cousins. “he said

"Ah, and why should I believe you." i said

"You never knew about me since now because we had to send you away when you were born because we were at war. “he said.

'I believe you. oh, and what about my brother?" i said

"Like I said he is still in the mortal realm and you are going to get him, “he said

"Why can't you come with me?" i asked.

"Because only you can access the ice portal you came through, “he said.

"And why is that?" i asked

"Because you are the guardian deity of ice, with control over all things that deal with cold," he said "well that makes sense "

“Now go I will be waiting, oh and your brother's name is Charles dewales. “he said

“Where do I go,” I asked
“The portal will know where to go.” He said

“Oh, and take your sword and don’t worry about anyone noticing it, it will change form once you enter the mortal realm.” He said

I left the ice castle and went up the mountain. I went into the cave and got to the portal I activated it and stepped in the portal vortex. The ride wasn’t as bad as the last time. I was in an icy blue limbo between world being sucked towards my destination by my magic.

When I reached, it I was on a road next to a very nice house. I walked to the front door and I saw the name Charles dewales on an empty box next to the garbage, so I knew that I was at the right place.

I knocked on the door and when it opened I had to do a double-take because if it weren’t for the strangely forest green eyes I could swear he looked exactly like me.

“Who are you?” he asked in alarm. I think he noticed too because he had a bewildered expression on his face.

“Hi my name is kiwi and I need to talk to you,” I said

“Ok come on in.” he said

When I walked in I could tell he liked plants because his house looked like a jungle.

“Nice place,” I said

“Thanks here come and sit I was about to eat dinner.” he said

Once we sat down I said, “alright let’s get down to business.”

“Alright what is it. “he said

I told him everything from the time I got home to now.

To say he looked more bewildered would be an understatement he looked like he just saw an alien abduction.

“Umm I am just going to call the cops,” he said rushing into the living room

“NO” I yelled. I ran into the living room and found him floundering around with the dial he turned toward me and gasped. I looked into a mirror and saw that my eyes were glowing with cold energy.

Just as he was about to call 911 I flicked my hand towards him and he dropped the phone in surprise. it was covered in ice.

“Now do you believe me,” I said.

“Yes.” he said.

“Now let’s go,” I said.

But as soon as we got out of the living room there was a knock on the door. We went to it but it opened before we could open it and in came a police officer.

Now not to be rude or anything but he had really bad timing.

He asked” Hello is one of you Mr. Charles? “

“I am. “said Charles.

“I heard a disturbance and decided to check it out.” he said.

We did not have time for this so I may or may not have, out of annoyance, temporarily frozen him in a block of ice.

We went outside and I opened the portal home.

We went into the castle and went to bed since it was night.

I got into bed and fell asleep.
