My view on religion: Greek or Christian Gods.

EDITOR'S NOTE: This blog is not meant to offend. This is the theory of the writer. This is how he views this subject. I give him credit for being original and actually thinking outside the box.

Me as Poseidon

Let's begin.

I, William C. Benz, am doing this because one of my readers asked me to. Now. Let's begin with the religion that is more attune to now.

Christianity. I don't really understand why so many people follow it. I mean, one God compared to the twelve Gods of greek mythology. It makes more sense that there are 12 Gods instead of one. The twelve Gods have different personalities, they have different powers and they represent different elements. Christianity doesn't make sense to me.

Christ made water into wine, that is basically stealing Dionysus' idea. Dionysus created wine from the first grape plant. I don't know exactly when this happened, but I know it happened way before Christ was born.

Onto the Greeks. YaHOO! Each Greek God has a specific function. Such as Zeus. Zeus is the god of thunderstorms, lightening and basically of kinds of nasty weather. He is the king of the Gods, ruler of the entire universe. And then there is his brother Poseidon. He is the God of the seas, raging sea storms and basically a water God. There are all types of lesser gods and titans. They all have different jobs to take care of the world. This makes a ton more sense!

My mom just brought up a good example.

Let's say that the world was a big factory. If we only had one person, (the Christian God) doing all the work, it wouldn't function well. The whole world would just break down and melt. But with many major and minor Gods, doing specific jobs, would make the factory, or in this case the world would run much smoother.

And there are thousands of other religions out there. I suggest you research them. And see which one clicks with you. Basically, all religions (Gods) are pointing to the same thing, for Man to live morally in their own different ways.

This is just a theory of mine, but, I do believe in the Greek Gods. However, all other religions might or might not be fantasy. They might be made up by man, or they might be accounts of the human race interacting with the Gods to better understand the universe.

Or it could just all be fantasy.

That's all I got for today. I hope I don't offend anybody. And if I do, I'm sorry. After all, I am technically only 11.

Oh, and a quick shout out to a new Penguin Man that I might start today or during the week.

This is WCB signing off.
