my sister's preformance 10/3/2016

Hi guys it has been a long time like 3 maybe 4 months. I don't know how long it has been but I have missed writing and I have a lot to talk about but I will post another blog soon that explains what have been up to but for today I would like to tell you about yesterday...

Io yeah my sister Lilly had her first big performance of the year for something called the chromatic club at the Montante Cultural center in Buffalo New York and I could tell she was nervous even though there where 30 people there. But once she got into it she was great and when she was done she got nervous again and forgot to bow!!! Her accompanist was my big brother brad so I just want to give him a shout out to him.

Anyway's this is all that I have for today and if you want more info go to my sister's blog and she has more on this and I hope to see you all in the comments.

Σας ευχαριστώ, Σοφία! (this means: Thank you, Sophia!)

To my sister's friend, Sophia -

Thank you for getting me the guide book about ancient Greece. It's so cool!! You're so lucky you get to go there! I really hope I get to go there someday.

Here's a place I think you should go. Try to find the Cave of the Oracle of Delphi. I don't know where it is, but just look through some caves in Delphi. I also suggest you try to find a Celestial Bronze Blade. That is a blade that can kill monsters and Demigods. It doesn't harm mortals, so you're good if you accidentally poke yourself. It'll go right through you and cause you no harm!

I suggest you avoid going into the labyrinth, and, or the underworld. And if you accidentally run into some gods like Zeus or Poseidon, tell them I said Hi.

These are the things I advise you to do the next time you're in Greece!

Maybe, if I see you someday, you can tell me where you went and what you saw!

And try not to get squashed by the Minotaur!

Your friend (your friends' brother)

William Benz

Introducing......the new......ME! June 13, 2016

Hey, guys! This is just a little update blog. In this update blog, I would like to say.....

I GOT MY BRACES OFF!!!!!

I have my retainer in a blue case. It fits snug on my teeth. Literally, it's a mold of my teeth. And I believe it is pretty darn accurate. My retainer is clear!

Feels really weird to have my braces off. But, it feels good to feel the front of my teeth again!

My view on religion: Greek or Christian Gods.

EDITOR'S NOTE: This blog is not meant to offend. This is the theory of the writer. This is how he views this subject. I give him credit for being original and actually thinking outside the box.

Me as Poseidon

Let's begin.

I, William C. Benz, am doing this because one of my readers asked me to. Now. Let's begin with the religion that is more attune to now.

Christianity. I don't really understand why so many people follow it. I mean, one God compared to the twelve Gods of greek mythology. It makes more sense that there are 12 Gods instead of one. The twelve Gods have different personalities, they have different powers and they represent different elements. Christianity doesn't make sense to me.

Christ made water into wine, that is basically stealing Dionysus' idea. Dionysus created wine from the first grape plant. I don't know exactly when this happened, but I know it happened way before Christ was born.

Onto the Greeks. YaHOO! Each Greek God has a specific function. Such as Zeus. Zeus is the god of thunderstorms, lightening and basically of kinds of nasty weather. He is the king of the Gods, ruler of the entire universe. And then there is his brother Poseidon. He is the God of the seas, raging sea storms and basically a water God. There are all types of lesser gods and titans. They all have different jobs to take care of the world. This makes a ton more sense!

My mom just brought up a good example.

Let's say that the world was a big factory. If we only had one person, (the Christian God) doing all the work, it wouldn't function well. The whole world would just break down and melt. But with many major and minor Gods, doing specific jobs, would make the factory, or in this case the world would run much smoother.

And there are thousands of other religions out there. I suggest you research them. And see which one clicks with you. Basically, all religions (Gods) are pointing to the same thing, for Man to live morally in their own different ways.

This is just a theory of mine, but, I do believe in the Greek Gods. However, all other religions might or might not be fantasy. They might be made up by man, or they might be accounts of the human race interacting with the Gods to better understand the universe.

Or it could just all be fantasy.

That's all I got for today. I hope I don't offend anybody. And if I do, I'm sorry. After all, I am technically only 11.

Oh, and a quick shout out to a new Penguin Man that I might start today or during the week.

This is WCB signing off.

What it's like, Part Dos April 4th, 2016

Hey, guys! It's me! Guess what month it is? Autism Month! And, you know that "What it's Like" post I wrote a couple years ago? Well, it's time to update!

Hm, let's see. Should I start with the good things or the bad things? Bad things...

The bad things are that numbers still get jumbled in my head. Math is getting easier. Everytime I do it, I understand it better. Sometimes, with the really hard questions, I have to use a calculator. Good thing I have one on my computer!

Another bad thing is my legs always get a little cramped. It makes it hard for me to focus because being cramped is really annoying.

Really bright lights still effect me. The noise problem hasn't bothered me for awhile. Up until last month, that is. One of my aunts had a small party at her house. I had to go outside a couple times to chill out. Thought my Aunt Joleen's mac and cheese? Delicious! And the sfingi that Aunt Karen made? YUM! Although, when she posted (on Facebook) that the sfingi were rising, it came out the SPHINX was rising!!!!!! Stupid spell check......

Everything is a little easier now that I'm homeschooled. No loud cafeteria. No enemies. Especially no Mr. Renzo. He didn't get me. He also made really bad jokes. I seriously wanted to throw him out the window. But, I didn't. So we're good.

Now, for the good things.

Hang on. A little writer's block here....

Here's a cool thing I can do! Actually, a lot of aspie people can do this! I can listen to an audio book and read a regular book at the same time! Sometimes, I get lost in one of the story lines. And I can pretty much always to 2 different things at once. This makes it easier for me to learn because I can be doing K5 (learning software) while listening to something on Time4learning (learning software).

I think I learn stuff a little faster. I understand a little more about what I like to learn. I like to learn English, chemistry, and at the very bottom of that list, math.

I also like spending time with my family. And I'm still really excited about hugs. Hugs make me feel warm and cozy. They make me feel safe. This makes me unusual. Most autistic people don't like to be hugged.

Now, the books I like to read have changed a little bit. And by a little, I mean a lot! I still like Geronimo Stilton books. But, they just don't appeal to me as much as they used to. I found a new favorite series! Percy Jackson and the Olympians, by Rick Riordan. I've also been reading, The Land of Stories books that Lucas from ballet likes to read. And I have reason to believe that the next book will come out later this year, or early next year. I've also read the Odyssey, and that taught me a lot about Greek Mythology. And I've started the Illiad. But, it's a little harder to read. I have a big knowledge about Greek Mythology. I can give you a 3 hour lecture on it. And it would be on 1 topic alone!

I have to admit, my tastes changed a lot in the last couple of years. I've eaten some different foods. I've tried a lot of stuff. Heck, I even like fish fries now! Only the type from Pat's (restaurant).

Before I forget, I have a little shout out about the Penguin books. I'm going to put aside the Christmas Special and just write another book. And wait for next year to publish the Christmas Special. And speaking about books? Be sure to look out for the ghost special I'm going to write.

And I guess that's it.

Stay tuned 'til next time!

First Connors hamburger!!!!! That's my "i'm really enjoying this" face!

March 1, 2016 It's been awhile.....

HI!!!!!!!

It's the 1st day of the 3rd month of the 16th year of the 21st century! Why did I just say that?!? I don't know....Anyway, that's a long way of saying it's March 1st. If I don't get my Christmas special done, I'm going to have to call it an Easter special! And I don't know if Dr. Walrus would look good in a bunny suit. Would he? Huh, that's an idea!

Anyway...I believe some astronauts are coming down from the ISS today. One's name is Scott Kelly. He's been there for almost a year. It would be cool if it were 2 years and 1 month. He was there for many reasons. One is to see if his DNA changed while he was in space. He has a identical twin brother, so they will test both of their DNA and see if it altered. And, NASA wants to see if human body is capable of going to Mars.

I'm learning about the elements this year! The chemical elements, not the weather type. So far, my personal favorite element is helium. It makes things float and it can make your voice sound funny - really high pitched.

So, did you know that the German's used hydrogen (hydrogen is more flamable - in other words, you get a really big KABOOM from H - that's the Hindenburg blew up)in the Hindenburg instead of helium because  America had a monopoly on helium and banned its export.

I love the game Monopoly. I almost always win against my Dad. But, my big brother beat me once....If Lilly and I challenge him to a game someday? Lilly can bankrupt him, and I can bankrupt her! Which means I would win!!!!! Trust me, once I got 3 hotels on Connecticut, Oriental and the other one that goes with them and my Dad was gone within an hour! That was the 1st time I won Monopoly. I even beat my Grandpa once!

That's it for today.

Stay tuned til next time!!!

Just another Friday night.....February 12, 2016

Hey, guys!! William here! It's Friday night and I'm sitting here writing my blog with my Mom...this is just a little status update. I have a little writers block on my current Christmas special, even though it's a little over due...you know, for Penguin Man? Well anyway.....

Yeah, so I was just on the treadmill. I forgot to put on my fitbit, so I don't know how many steps I took. Yesterday, I did about 5100 and something steps!

Today, I thought of a little business idea. I can probably make some money off my sister. The idea is to let Lilly rent my Lego's. She has to pay $5 to rent them and $2 to return them. We're gonna see how this works...I can probably run my sister dry. I have a lot more lego's than she does. At least 2 buckets full!

Well, that's all I have to say.....

Stay tuned 'til I get my act together for my story!!!
